cycle of exchanges

The Cycle of Exchanges is an online discussion forum available on www.eyep.info.

This forum will allow students from across the globe to interact and take part in various debates on topics such as:

  • Can we protect the environment by changing our patterns of consumption?
  • Is Climate change endangering our planet? What can we do?
  • Are laws an effective way to safeguard and improve the environment?

    Expert advice

Environmental specialists will enter into discussions and offer their thoughts and advice to the students.

The current debates relate to the resolutions and action proposals in the White Paper on the Environment, which was written by the students taking part in the 2004 European Youth Eco-Parliament.

    Exchange your ideas

The Cycle of Exchanges will also prove an important tool for the 2007-08 Youth Eco-Parliament. The online discussion forum will enable schools to exchange their ideas, projects and findings with other schools from across the world. This will allow schools to discuss similar projects and themes with other schools, and aid the process of writing an enironmental document to be presented to representatives of UNESCO. UNESCO are currently running the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
