Projects will be run in schools within the UK and other European countries. Once complete, everyone involved will be able to share their experiences on the European website, via a discussion forum named the Cycle of Exchanges . This allows participants from countries to debate together over various environmental topics.

PRO-Europe

PRO Europe, an umbrella organisation made up of 24 Green Dot compliance schemes across Europe, runs the Youth Eco-Parliament.

What is the European Parliament?

The European Parliament consists of 731 representatives from the 25 member states of the EU. The UK has 78 MEPs (Members of European Parliament). The European Parliament meets in Brussels, Belgium to undertake activities such as amending and voting on draft legislation and policy, deciding on the EU budget and approving international agreements.
