WEEE producer compliance scheme
In order to ensure that material is collected
by 'producers', and to obtain funding from the Distributor Take
Back Scheme (DTS), LAs must register CA sites, and those sites at
which bulky waste is taken, as Designated Collection Facilities
(DCFs).

rescape launches the new city+ recycling bank
The new smallest member of the rescape family
was greeted with keen interest by many LA's at the LARAC conference
in Telford last month. The compact City+ bank has been designed
around the same aesthetics as its larger brother, the Coupe, but
has a much smaller footprint allowing it to be placed 'on the street'
in pedestrian areas and attract important 'recycling on the go'.
The new unit can house a 240 or 360 wheeled bin to collect any material
