recycled products

It is important that we all try and buy recycled products and packaging where possible, as this completes the recycling loop and increases demand for recycled material.

Many supermarkets and other companies are now supplying more and more recycled products which include everything from toilet roll to jewellery.

You can find thousands of recycled products on recycledproducts.org.uk

recycling symbols on packaging

recycling symbol which shows the percentage of recycled material in a product

Look out for this symbol on packaging, as it will tell you what percentage of recycled material is contained within the packaging.

Companies use this symbol on a voluntary basis, which means that not all packaging that contains recycled material will display this logo.

For further information on recycling symbols please click here to visit the labels on packaging pages.
