Green Dot

www.green-dot.org.uk
The Green Dot is a symbol that is displayed on packaging in many European countries. It signifies that the producer of that piece of packaging has made a contribution towards the recycling of packaging. However, we do not use the Green Dot system in the UK.

The Green Dot is not used as a compliance mark in the UK, but it is still a trademark. Anyone who produces or imports packaging that displays the Green Dot, which is then sold in the UK, must pay a UK licence fee through Valpak Limited.

The Green Dot packaging label
Please be aware that the Green Dot does NOT mean that the packaging can be recycled or that it has been made from recycled material.
