My cat eats pouches of cat food. These pouches appear to be a combination of plastic and foil. How do I recycle them, please?

Since the type of plastic is now identified on a container by the mobius loop and a number, does anyone know if all types (1to 7)can be recycled or only certain ones?

Aussie Model

In most areas in Australia the household wheelie bin is divided into two halves.
In one half goes ALL recycleable material, in the other half goes regular household waste. The collection truck also has this divide and when emptied the recyclables are sorted at the recycling station.
This makes it very easy to recycle, also forces you to recycle as the regular waste space in the bin is physically smaller and maintains a weekly collection (rather than councils dropping to fortnighly pickups - with the associated issues and inconvenience to housegolders of a fortnighly cycle)
I'm wondering how such a simple model has been missed in the UK?

Hi my name is Mirka and I am from the Czech Republic, where we have a special recycling banks in every street so people can recycle it at any time and dont need to wait for collection once per week (how ennoying to keep waiting for recycling day and than you are on holiday or forget and you have to wait another week!). Also no boxes needs to be provided by council. It is better organised and also people have been recycling for longer than here in UK. I was really shocked that such diveloped country as UK isn't much more green friendly.
