What are the attitude of teens toward the Environment?

What is their attitude toward it? Why do they act like that? Don't they know that its their future they're putting at risk?

Their parents and grandparents and possibly great-grandparents had a tough time with World Wars and rationing etc and have tried to give their kids a better life - and spoiled them rotten in the process.
