Recycling Old printer cartridges

We are a voluntary charitable organisation based throughout the UK and have a project for members to collect old ORIGINAL printer laser/Inkjet/Deaskjet cartridges for recycling. Annually we could collect 5000 cartridges from members. We have hit buffers because some of the recycling companies pay us pennies and sometime charge us for collecting these items. Surely there must be some good companies who can pay a reasonable amount to us. I will be keen to hear from such companies or readers of this site to offer some suggestions. Else we will stop collecting these as it takes a lot of storage and man hours to co-ordinate this project.
