Is it possible to recycle CDs?

I cannot find information whether this is possible, or what uses there are for recycled CDs. Any info would be appreciated.

Tesco

Tesco are offering CD recycling at some of its stores on a trial basis. Look out for the new containers at the front of your local store. The containers can be used to recycle Carrier bags, CD's, Mobile Telephones and Some inkjet cartridges.

resource page

if you look on the resource area, and the useful links page, there is a link to a company called reuze. They have information on cd recycling - where and what happens to them. Tescos also collects cds for recycling at some of its stores.
