Energy savings from recycling one glass jar

I'm trying to find out how much energy it takes to make a glass jar from raw materials, and from recycled materials, in order to work out the saving. This is to produce a quiz for children aged 7-11. Help please!

I don't know the exact energy values in kJ - but there is an energy saving of 22% for glass when scrap materials are used instead of virgin materials. Every tonne of recycled glass in a furnace saves 1.2 tonnes of primary raw materials.
