I prefer to buy organic milk but can't find any in glass bottles. Can anyone solve the conundrum of organic and plastic vs. nonorganic and glass?

Have you tried organic soya milk? These can be purchased in the card board containers. I know this isn't good for woodland but I believe it degrades better. its maybe the manufacturers should be looking at, there are people looking to be ethical about the food they buy. for the companies to come out with silly packaging defeats the object.
